Why Hello.

I don’t know how you found this place, but pull up a stool, pour yourself some liquor and relax. This is the first post on what will be a rambling, unorganised catalogue of potential failures in the realm of FFG games.
​
FFG? That’s Fantasy Flight Games, an American publisher of addictively good games, with an ever expanding number of add ons to buy that screams ‘Take my money’ every time I say I’m not going to buy in.
​
This normally happens in a little place where everyone knows your name, and they have the common sense not to get a license to serve alcohol, called Patriot Games in Sheffield. This seems to happen on a Friday evening, under the mysterious title of Cafrika, and you can blame the group of gaming ringleaders over at Mostly Off-Topic for those shenanigans.

So what are these games, well that’s the question. Despite severe hinting to get involves in a whole host of others, I stick mainly to Lord of The Rings, and Warhammer 40K:Conquest, with a little dabble in Game of Thrones. And, despite much avoidance, I have the X-Wing bug. I’m not very good. I have a lot to learn. Hopefully, you will walk by my side, and learn as well.
The links at the top of the page are a little barren right now, but over time there going fill up with posts and features, and one day, maybe one day, someone will call in here by choice.

Oh and me? I’m a big fat 40+ year old looking for something that makes time worthwhile. If I find it, I’ll let you know.
